Gabbeh Wool Rug
A Gabbeh Wool Rug 6.9x9.9 is a unique hand-woven Persian rug, known for its thick pile and simple, geometric designs. These rugs originate from the nomadic tribes of the Zagros Mountains in Iran. The word "Gabbeh" means "raw" or "unfinished" in Persian, reflecting the rustic and tribal character of these rugs. Unlike many Persian rugs, Gabbehs feature abstract patterns and vibrant colors, making them stand out. They are both decorative and functional.
Made from high-quality wool, each Gabbeh rug is hand-spun by skilled artisans. This ensures that no two rugs are exactly alike. The durable construction and thick pile make these rugs ideal for high-traffic areas. Their simple yet bold aesthetic works well with various interior styles, from minimalist to bohemian.
Every Gabbeh rug tells a story, woven with cultural heritage and artistic expression. Their organic and often asymmetrical designs appeal to those who value craftsmanship and uniqueness in home decor.
