Origin of Hamadan Rugs
Hamadan Wool Rug 3.0x9.0 is one of the oldest cities in the world, not just in Iran. Historically, it served as the cradle of Oriental civilization. The wool rugs from Hamadan typically feature geometrical designs, often showcasing a single or multiple central medallions. These high-quality rugs are built to last for many years. Strong reds and blues dominate the palette, while ivory provides a striking contrast. Artisans weave these carpets using Turkish knots, crafting them from soft, densely knotted wool. The Hamadan region includes several smaller villages, such as Engela and Malayer, each distinguished by its unique style and quality. Arian Rugs proudly offers a complete collection of Persian Rugs.
